Why This Site Mattered
This marks a shift in professional practice: responsive design becomes central to portfolio strategy. By 2016, mobile-first thinking was essential, and this site embodies that shift. More importantly, it includes an explicit link to its own predecessor (the 2014 portfolio), the first documentary evidence of portfolio lineage that Jeff constructed—suggesting growing awareness of digital preservation within his own practice.
