The Hall of Openings gathered the museums he imagined — the crowds, the walls, the openings that never happened. These are the ones he built.
For fifty years the galleries his work reliably lived in were the ones he made himself: portfolio sites, a print shop for a street character, a collaboration page for a grandson. Each is preserved here exactly as it was — framework and all, from hand-authored HTML tables in 2000 to a Bootstrap portfolio in 2020. Read together, they are a second archive: fifty years of a maker deciding how to be seen, and the web changing underneath him the whole time.
